Painting city walls: Alice Pasquini

Alice Pasquini is a visual artist from Rome whose preferred canvases are city walls. She travels widely, bringing her artwork to life on the streets of cities around the globe. We caught up with Alice using her new EOS 750D in Istanbul and asked about her unique perspectives on travel, creative inspiration and how art and photography intersect. Alice explains:

“Using the idea of Istanbul as a city where East meets West, I walked the city gathering inspiration. Using the connectivity features of the camera, I was able to sit in a nearby cafe and sketch my artistic vision from my images captured before moving to paint on the wall I had selected. Take a look at the video to see the entire process and the adventure I had in Istanbul.”
